Just finished a Mastermind Summit here in Vegas at Casa De Millionaire.  Getting ready to jump on my private jet to do an event for 800 Dr's.  Every time I do a Summit I am greatly inspired and this one paticularly so.  Great people, great energy and wonderful fun!  The Summits make me take my game to a whole new level and this one did so in a huge way.  Thanks to all of my guests.

I realized  big time at the Summit that I am fighting Millionaire habits.  The things that have gotten me to millionaire status are now getting in the way of being a billionaire.  The mere fact of being a millionaire is dangerous because it can make a person (present speaker included) fat and happy.  When I know that I can easily make a great 8 figure living  it gets in the way of making a 10 figure one.  So here are some thoughts on what needs to happen to leverage me and you a couple more zeros.

I have said it before and yet it deserves to be repeated, we must know the value of our time.  Flying privately is dollar wise quite expensive, fortune wise quite cheap.  Both of my homes are about 40 minutes from the closest commercial airport.  When I get to the airport I have to shuttle or walk to the actual terminal, (20 minutes).  I then have to check my bags after standing in line, (30 minutes, and if you know me one of my least favorite things).  I then have to make sure I am at the security gate at least 60 minutes prior to take off just in case there are any challenges.  When I land I have to wait until all of the cattle are herded off the plane and then go to bag claim where I patiently (yea right!) wait another 60 minutes if I am lucky to collect my bag.  I then walk to my transportation a refreshing 10 minutes.  Total time outside of actually flying=3 hours 40 minutes.

My beach house is 7 minutes from a private airport.  I leave my house, drive onto the runway where the pilot opens my trunk and removes my bags.  I settle into my seat, beverage in hand, my tray table is down and no one says anything.  I have my feet up on the seat accross from me or I am sprawled out on the couch watching a past prestation and shapening my skills.  Since I am at a private airport with less traffic no waiting and we instantly take off.  When I land I am met on the runway by my transportation and within 5 minutes am off to my hotel.  Total time 30 minutes max.

Repeat both the above for a return trip, total time saved 6 hours 20 minutes.  OH MY GOSH!

A full day saved just by taking private transportation!  Also no stress worrying about missing my flight, it will wait for me.  And I can bring along 8 of my closest friends, or just one special one and make it a very wonderful adventure.

What's all of this got to do with you my friend?  I am sure some of you may be saying, "That's all well and good for you rich hypnoman, I am just trying to pay my bills."

I get it.  As a Millionaire I flew first class.  It made travel a little more bearable.  Now as I am wanting to create more value for others I realize that the only way I can do this is to make sure my own instument is in top condition.  It has been so long since I have flown commercially that I don't even remember when I did.  It is such a joy to fly now that I look forward to getting on the plane.  It took me a while in my mind to justify paying extra for 1st class, it took me longer to justify my own plane.  Both steps have made me money and made the quality of my life so much better.

What time wasters are you stuck in?  What minimum wage activities can you get rid of?  I know you may be frightened at the prospect of paying money out when you think you don't have enough now.  I find myself being more creative and more productive now than ever just to avoid having to stand in a 90 minute security line and having my favorite cologne taken away.

What "WWMA's" can you avoid right in your own home.  House cleaning, errand running, packing for trips?  The common denominator between you and every other Millionaire on the planet is that they have the same # of minutes in their day.  The only difference is they use their time more effectively.  They constantly ask if they can delegate, discard or dimminish the time required for the task at hand.

Here are some tips for making a higher and better use of your time:

1.  Work on one project at a time.  Shifting priorities is the biggest time waster of all.

2.  Disallow drop by visitors.  That includes family and people who work for you.

3.  Get your workout in first thing.  It is amazing how much more effective you will be when you know you have  done something good for yourself right off the bat in your day.  Exercize makes you money in so many ways, clearer mind, more attractive body, more energy.  Just do it.

4.  Immediately get a maid even if only for one day a week.  It's obvious.

5.  Stay focused on the bigger picture.  Stop stepping over $$$ to pick up pennies.

6.  Avoid getting angry, you will make bad judgements and your anger most likely won't change anything.

7.  Get other people excited about your visions so they want to be around you even if it means volunteering to work for free.

8.  Avoid face to face meetings unless they are absolutely neccesary.  If it can be done on the phone, email or otherwise it should be.  Maintain the releationships, just don't jump when the client calls so that you can make the decision and be in power.

9.  Find ways to create better and more consistent systems.  Losing things, (keys, files, checks, etc...) is just plain aggravating and unneccesary.

10.  Always focus on passive income oppourtunities.  The only way to be a billionaire is to make sure you have some form of income that grows without your continuous effort.

That's all for now.  I am on fire for your success. I want you to be in my next informercial.  Send me an email telling me all about your successes and I will review and maybe come pay you a personal visit or even send a private jet to fly you and your significant other to me.

Then you can join the Marshall Sylver mile high club.

I am so happy I subscribed to this blog!! I seem to get the updates at the most appropriate time...just as I was doing bills thinking "there has to be a better way" and being pissed off at myself for not working out first thing this morning. You are so right about morning workouts AND how workouts DO make you money. My mind is so much sharper the days I workout and strangely enough I seem to be more creative about life. Your entries seem to be the kick in the butt I need to get back in the right frame of a millionaire mind.

      THANKS

Those values and rules described look so familiar to me. I love to make the best out of each single day and single moment. What can I do each moment to be happy, healthy and whole in body, mind and soul?

Being rich on the physical level is only one part of the story. That is what Marshall always advocates. Everything happens in the mind and will manifest on the physical level.

I like the notion of questioning every thought and move that prevents me from attaining my goals. There are so many unnecessary things that people tend to do: useless fights on principles, negative thinking, egoistic acting, complaining, just to name a few.

Please carry on publishing these blogs, because they serve as a reminder!

Have a wonderful day, regards, Dirk

This is an awesome entry (just like the rest of course), Marshall! I just finished doing my master cleanse/lemonade diet for 10 days and its a kickstart for a cleanups, completions, and deletions for the last quarter of the year.

Another technique to value more of our time would be to evaluate each moment spent on something and multiply by your per hour worth. For example, when one person is worth $1,000/hour and he/she spents 3 hours just checking email, she lost $3,000 bucks doing that activity. Action Step: Start jotting down your daily activity today and be aware how much money you lose by focusing on less productive tasks

Have a better and better day,

Great tips on making a higher and better use of time. I also highly recommend using a personal organizer. I myself use a Franklin Covey planner which is a wonderful tool for time management as it allows me to organize my whole day by listing tasks, prioritizing them and scheduling them at specific times. This allows me to picture where I am spending my time. By doing this you can see if you are spending too much time doing non-productive things such as watching TV. I now limit myself to just one hour TV each weekday evening. I also found myself sleeping in at the weekends, which again is non-productive time so I am now reducing to 8-9 hours sleep, thereby gaining a few more extra hours.
Most good time management planners also allow you to plan one month or one year in advance which can also be useful to picture an overview of your upcoming days. The key is to find a system that suits your lifestyle, personality and that works for you and to keep using it consistently on a daily basis, whether it be paper based such as Franklin Covey, Filofax or computer based like Microsoft Outlook.

Outstanding blog entry. Spending time on frivolous activities that can be easily outsourced is a huge time & energy waster. Going thru this process with my family now and we'll be outsourcing all minimum wage activities! Nice work on your site re-do and your blog Marshall - looks sharp.

As a recent attendee to the Summit at Casa de Millionaire, I realize that the thousands of dollars Ive spent on my personal development, is really only pennies compared to the millions I will make. Thanks for the infomercial spot and the confidence that you have in me. After the songfest, I have regained my desire to sing, again. There are no words to thank you enough for that. The difference now is that I am thinking outside the box and finding other ways to use it as another vehicle to make money. I love the acapella idea.
Marshall, I will be right here waiting for you...to write the next blog. Hey, sounds like another great song.....
      God Bless

I met Marshall Sylver at a Robert Allen Function while waiting to check in at the hotel in L.A. I "sensed" his energy before I even knew who he was. Through the power of suggestion, and perhaps telepathy, I knew I needed to attend "The turning Point" which just happened to be coming to Atlanta (my Home) in two weeks.

I believe in synchronicity and I also believe some humans on this earth have evolved to a higher level of service earlier than many of us. I believe God guides each individual through unique experiences so that they can contribute to "The Greater Good" at the highest of levels. Marshall is obviously a great teacher and through challenging myself at Marshall's Turning Point with my son I was able to acknowledge my own "Powers of Intuition". I am now moving to an entirely new level of contribution. Marshall helped me get over being afraid of bringing my "gifts" to the Public Eye. Miraculous things are beginning to happen in my life. I am thankful for the serendipitous meeting in Los Angeles and also for being able to share the experience of Marshall with my youngest son. It was a breakthrough for both of us. My son decided to quit his job and begin a business of his own...I decided to honor the gifts I have been given and take them to a higher level of service.

It will not be long before I too will have converted intellectual, emotional, and spiritual currency into material currency that will allow contribution at the highest level and will fulfill my destiny.

Excellent advice. I do see the double-edged sword tho'. Always striving for more and more and yet, is there a point when you can relax and enjoy where you are at? I guess the trick is to learn to 'enjoy the ride', while always moving forward. Keep thinking. Keep Visualizing. Keep creating. Goals are first created in thought, so I guess we're always only one thought away from our greater good.

This has been a challenge to me as of late. I am getting better with each day that passes and I see my time slipping away. It is amazing that after each course I take, when I get home it is as if I came out of the course running like a fully loaded locamotive and run straight into a brick wall! With three teenage daughters and a grand daughter at home, my 18 year old does not understand nor does she value the time I need to write my book and finish the CD's on time management that I have been working on. Although she has been to a turning point and we will be at the one in December in Chicago, I ask her to write her dreams down. She does not even know where to begin. I tell her, DREAM! Just dream and put it into the universe. Act as if. I believe in Marshall and what he teaches, I have heard it my whole life, yet little acted upon it. You are in my prayers and thoughts everyday Marshall and I am putting it out there in the world that YES, You are a Billionaire... You are what you think.
I WILL be the best female public speaker of all time!! I WILL be notorious for my stories, for my seminars and standing and stating I too am a Billionaire within 10 years!
My time and efforts no longer wasted.

Hey Marshall! The new site looks great! I browsed through it today and it's easily navigable. You've been telling us, "You become what you think about." Well, I've been thinking about what I want to become almost non-stop, even when doing other things. And what happens yesterday, but out of the blue comes a phone call from the Director of Municipal Opera, who wants me to come back to sing in a concert on October 29. She wants me to reprise the "Pa-Pa-Pa" duet from the production of "The Magic Flute" that we did 10 years ago! And while I was at it, I got to pitch my opera concept to her. Her reaction: "It sounds really hot!" So I'm working the opportunities and the connections that will lead to money and a fully-realized creative magnum opera.

      Hi Marshall!
I'm loving the new website and I'm so happy I found your blog page! I completely agree with you about our time busters and where our focus and aim tends to go throughout our days. I've finally discovered how to live passionately and I have you to especially thank for that. Some people will look at this blog entry and feel a bit overshadowed by your success. (I would have a few years ago.) Now, I'm just inspired. And I want everone to understand that quite simply you can't afford not to do this! Your entire future and the future of your family depends on it. If we aren't taking the advice of billionaires then who? Larry the maintenance man? I encourage everyone to take what Marshall says to heart. He's one of the wisest, most compassionate people I know, and he does what he does to inspire all of us. He's looking to help us find the fire. Take the torch and run with it.
Thanks again, Marshall! I look forward to my flight to Spain in your delicious private jet! And Congrats!

      Sincerely,
      Teresa Prisco
